Santa Rosa Park – Stormwater Harvesting for Ryde City Council

Optimal Stormwater was selected for the design of a stormwater harvesting solution in Santa Rosa Park for Ryde City Council.

The project involved Optimal Stormwater analysing the available base and peak flow at the particular location, the capacity to deliver the required water supply for the expected demand, the solution to have no negative effect on the ecological and environmental life of the creek downstream of the off-take location, the WHS of the off-take both during construction and following full commissioning and considering access for inspection, monitoring, maintenance or repairs.

The solution involved a GPT, an underground raw water storage tank, an above ground treatment shed and underground treated water shed with a pump system directed to the irrigation of the sports field.
