2019 City of Sydney GPT Audit

The City of Sydney needed certainty on the performance of their 50 plus gross pollution traps throughout the LGA.  The outcomes of the Optimal Stormwater GPT audit were used to calibrate their LGA wide MUSIC model creating a ‘real-time ‘outcome for decision makers and prepare detailed cleaning specifications for the GPT cleaning contractor. 

Council is now confident they can move forward with GPT rectifications and expand their LGA wide gross pollution trap strategy with renewed confidence.

Council recently endorsed support of a ‘zero litter to ocean’ target for 2030 to add to their already ambitious 2030 Integrated Water Cycle Management plan of 50% total suspended solids removal and 15% nutrients.
